π Rules of the game
SETUP
1. Place all tiles face down on the table (the βbunchβ).
2. Each player takes tiles:
2β4 players: 21 tiles
5β6 players: 15 tiles
7β8 players: 11 tiles
3. Place the tiles in front of you with the letters facing up.
START OF THE GAME
A player calls out βSplit!β. Everyone flips their tiles over and starts building a word grid at the same time.
MAKING WORDS
β Words may run horizontally or vertically.
β Words must be connected to each other like in a crossword puzzle.
β Words must be spelled correctly.
During the game, you may:
β change words
β move tiles
β rebuild your grid.
PEEL
When a player has used all of their tiles, they call out βPeel!β.
All players then take one new tile from the pile.
DUMP
If you can't use a letter:
1. Say βDump!β
2. Put the tile back in the pile.
3. Draw three new tiles.
END OF THE GAME
When there are fewer tiles in the pile than the number of players, players may no longer call βPeel.β The first player to use all their tiles after that calls βBananas!β
CHECK
Other players check to see if all the words are correct. If everything is correct, that player wins. If there is an incorrect word, the player must draw extra tiles and the game continues.
