The Game is a cooperative card game in which players work together to lay down as many cards as possible in the correct order. In the game, there are four stacks of cards on the table: two ascending stacks and two descending stacks. Players must play their cards as cleverly as possible without revealing exactly which cards they have. The game requires cooperation, strategy, and good judgment.

The goal of The Game is for the team to place all cards from 2 to 99 on the correct piles before no one can make a valid move.

📖 Rules of the game
PREPARATION
1. Place the four starting cards face up on the table: 1, 1, 100, and 100.
2. Shuffle the cards from 2 to 99.
3. Deal the cards: 1 player: 8 cards 2 players: 7 cards 3–5 players: 6 cards
4. Place the remaining cards as a draw pile.
GAME PLAY
Players take turns.
During your turn, you must play at least two cards. You may then play more cards if you wish.
ASCENDING STACKS
Cards in stacks starting with 1 must be in ascending order. Example: 1 → 8 → 14 → 27
DESCENDING STACKS
Cards in stacks starting with 100 must be in descending order.
Example: 100 → 92 → 80 → 61
SPECIAL RULE (10 BACK)
You may jump back exactly 10.
Example: If the top card is 45, you may also play 35. If the top card is 60, you may also play 70.
NEW CARDS After your turn, draw cards until you have the normal number of cards again:
– 6 cards with 3–5 players
– 7 cards with 2 players
COMMUNICATION
Players may consult with each other but may not mention exact numbers. Examples: Yes: "That pile is good for me." No: "I have a 47."
END OF THE GAME
The game ends when:
– no one can play a valid card, or
– all cards have been played.
SCORE
Count how many cards are left unplayed.
0 cards left: Perfect
1–10 cards: Great
11–20 cards: Good
21 or more cards: Could be better
